Improved roads in Sta Cruz Liloan

As I roam around find good roads on my extra free time on weekend. I just realized Sta Cruz Liloan has improved road way from Yati leading up to the mountains. New fresh road constructions are visible in recent months. I believe this is big improvement for Liloan.

Cebu Tractor Factor Route

You want to experience a mix bag of asphalt, dirt roads, and rural roads?

A trip that doesn't require you to reach high speeds. Take your time and add more skills to your riding style!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present you the "Tractor Factor Route". A route that will consume you for the entire day. Set aside all your appointments and experience the endurance uphill and downhill dirt roads.

In order to survive, you must become a "tractor" on your two wheels. Let your first gear power you upwards! Enjoy the scenes, take a photos with your friends on each point. Dont forget to take quick break along the way.

We don't recommend this to new riders. Some parts of this route requires balancing skills, strong heart, and endurance.  Expect some few scratches or damages at the belly of your engines.

Here are the points of this route:

  1. Guba
  2. Bonbon
  3. Sinsin
  4. Camp 7
  5. Toledo City
  6. Danasan Eco Adventure Park
  7. Cambinocot
  8. Guba
  9. Bacayan

A photo/short break near Danasan Eco adventure park.

  • Check brakes
  • Water/food
  • Basic Tools (for emergencies)
  • Endurance

They do have a variety of choices but I selected for the Extra Spicy.  Unlimited rice is also available.

A quick snapshot of food I ordered.

The Logo is large and you can't miss it. Simple and effective for first time diners.

Cozy nice place you can enjoy just inside the mall.

The items on the wall makes the place more interesting.

How I manage GIGABYTES of Images

Every time I finish taking photos on  Transcentral highway (a.k.a Cebu TCH) I usually end up from 4 GigaBytes to 10 Gigabytes of data on my SD Card. Consisting around 2,000 to 5,000 shutter counts on a single day.

Mostly, when I shoot photos for outdoor or event (non serious photos) I usually do it on JPEGs only (no RAW).
I dont want to deal with thousands of RAW files, most data are not used and it's pretty much pointless to go on that path. I only work with RAW if there is a serious photoshoot only.

When I copy photos from SD card to the computer, I keep them all in one folder.

Next step is to create a web-optimized copy of all images. This way, I can upload adequate quality for Facebook or Blog.  I mostly do this by batch processing, few clicks and then move on with an attached watermark.

Optimized images are created in a separate folder, my next action is to delete the unnecessary images I dont need. Delete inappropriate shots including the bad ones.  This way I have less error of selecting usable photos along the way. Select the bad one, delete,  move on to the next photo.

I will end up around 200 to 500 images, depends how I see fit.  Estimate around 300 Megabytes of uploadable content.

QUESTION: Do you edit photos?
Yes and No. For event and outdoor shoots, I only let the camera do the magic with my specific settings.  I'm too lazy to edit thousand photos to some data I dont use.  It's a total waste of time doing editing on each photo.

QUESTION: What Editing Software?
Just any software that can do batch process.
